Neurodiversity at Response

Making Response a better place to live, be and work for all neurotypes and for neurodivergent people.

Celebrating difference
Neurodiversity at Response

At Response we understand the power and importance of neuroinclusivity. We know everyone’s brains are different, that we are all neurodiverse and that we all work differently. We also celebrate that some people are diagnosed and identify as neurodivergent.

Neurodivergent conditions such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, dyspraxia and Tourette’s bring so many valuable skills to society and to the workplace but also bring their own barriers and challenges. At Response we want to be part of change by celebrating, supporting and advocating for a better world for neurodivergent people.

Service provider

It is estimated that up to 20% of the population are neurodivergent.

At Response we support children, young people, adults and their families with a range of needs and complexities. Within their support plans may be a neurodivergent condition, either diagnosed or undiagnosed, that impacts on their life.

All Response staff have training in neurodiversity and bring this knowledge to a person centred approach to supporting the people accessing our services.

A place to work

We want Response to be a place where colleagues can bring their best selves.

We want people to feel comfortable to disclose that they are autistic, have dyslexia or have Tourette’s etc. By being their true self, we can deliver the best outcomes for the people we work with.

We offer colleagues:

    • A Work With Me Passport approach to starting with us.

    • Neurodiversity Champions to support with your profile and needs.
