Partnership working

“There is some fantastic partnership work taking place across Oxfordshire at the moment. I have had the pleasure of spending time with Homeless Oxfordshire, Oxfordshire Mind, Connection Support, the city and county council and Oxford Health to work out how we improve our approach for those experiencing mental health challenges and homelessness. I have been so impressed by the level of dedication and passion from everyone in navigating how we see past the individual organisations to deliver what is needed for the people who use or would benefit from using our services.”

Brilliant work across Adult services

“We have seen some incredible work across our Adult Services over the last few months. Whilst Response have always had a recovery focused approach with how we support the people who use our services, there has been a renewed focus which is gaining momentum and enthusiasm across the board. In particular we are seeing more people being supported to manage their medication themselves and our Grove House residents are being supported to cook their meals. These small changes really make a big difference in helping people gain independence, and is something we are committed to continuously improving. I want to say a special thank you to the staff in the community and residential services for really supporting the changes being made.”

Our future of Fundraising!

“As you will have seen on our social media, we are launching a new approach to fundraising. This is not something we have done much of in the past, and are really looking forward to seeing what we can achieve. The ability to generate more funds that will enable us to do even more great work for children, young people, families and adults who require support with their mental health is really exciting. If you would like to find out more, please contact communications@response.org.uk for more information. We are keen to get as many people involved as possible!”

We are an Oxford Living Wage employer!

“Finally, I was so pleased we were able to provide salary increases for everyone in April rather than waiting until December, continuing our commitment to being an Oxfordshire Living Wage Employer. At a time when inflation is high and significantly impacting on our personal lives alongside a challenging economic environment for Response, we are pleased to be able to prioritise these changes.”
