“I studied psychology at University because I wanted to learn more about mental health. I have seen first-hand the effects of poor mental health and ever since I have wanted to help others.”

“After university, I wanted to gain experience in mental health as I had no prior work experience in this field. I chose to apply at Response because their vision and values aligned with my own.”
My role in Resident's recovery
“For me, the best part of the job is seeing residents make progress in their recovery, whether this be achieving their goals or overcoming obstacles. Knowing that I had played a role in this is really rewarding. I helped resident's remain as independent as possible in order to function within the community, so they were not isolated.”
Straightforward recruitment process
“The recruitment process was also easy and straightforward. Communication was also good: I was invited for an interview quickly after applying for the position and didn’t have to wait long to be informed of the outcome. Also, during my interview I was put at ease and made to feel comfortable.”
