This is a quote from one of our quizzers! We are proud to say that on Saturday 4th, March, we hosted our very first fundraising event at The Tap Social Movement. All agreed it was a raging success, and those attending had a LOT of fun. While quiz abilities were varied, there was something for everyone with live performances from staff, speeches, a raffle with excellent prizes, and lots of laughter and drinks flowing.
We raised £1500!
What a success! The money raised from the event will go directly towards Response’s services for Adults and Young People struggling with mental illness and homelessness, helping individuals to live fulfilling lives in the community.
Thank you for your support of Response and we hope to see many more of you join us on our fundraising journey.
What next?
Response and the TAP Social Movement joined forces to bring you the most exciting event of the year! The Tap Social are a like-minded community organisation. The Tap Social grew out of a passion for good beer and social justice. They are a craft brewery and hospitality social enterprise that provides training and employment opportunities to ex-offenders and welcoming, inclusive spaces for the whole community. As partners, we are hoping to host another quiz at The Tap Social this year, so watch this space!
