World Mental Health Day 10th October
“Mental Health is a Universal Human Right”
The Mental Health Foundation states that: “World Mental Health Day is about raising awareness of mental health and driving positive change for everyone’s mental health.”
This is a BIG DAY for us at Response, being one of the leading providers of support and services to individuals living with mental health challenges and complex needs in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and the Southwest of England.
Our staff decided to get involved the show their solidarity for those experiencing mental health challenges across the world.
The green ribbon is the international symbol for mental health awareness, so we decided to wear green!
Tea and Talk event
Staff also had a lovely time connecting over tea and cakes while playing giant Jenga (you should try it!) with colleagues for World Mental Health Day!
It's not too late to follow suit and hold your own tea and talk session with colleagues, friends, or the people you support.
Remember though- let's connect for our mental health everyday!
Would you like to donate to Response for World Mental Health day?
